Four Basic Management Functions
Planning ( Planning)
Parencanaan is a management process to establish goals and objectives of the organization and determine how best to achieve it . To be successful with a good planning process , needs to be done seven step strategic planning process , the plan establishes measures and allocation of resources necessary to meet the strategic objectives of planning .
In most companies , strategic planning in business environment today is an endless process that takes place with the involvement of the seven steps .
a. The vision is a realistic view of the future of the company based on internal conditions .
b . The mission is a statement of the purpose of the organization , the basic objectives and organizational philosophies . A brief articulation of why the organization exists , how to comply , and the principles of the company as it tries to survive to reach the target .
c . SWOT Analysis ( streangth , weakness , opportunities , thread ) is an analysis to determine strengths , weaknesses , opportunities , and challenges faced by the company .
d . Predicting ( predict ) the development , is the process of planning how we predict the next pengembanganorganisasi .
e . Competition Analysis , to analyze the conditions of competition with existing competitors in the market that we enter .
f . Determine the direction and goals , so that each employee has a firm grip on the direction of policy and mengetahiu organizational goals .
g . Develop implementation plan , so that staff know what and how to plan the implementation is done .
Organizing ( Organizing )
Management process that establishes the best way to manage the resources and activities of the organization into a logical structure and inter-related .
Setting the resources and activities of the organization is done by the company that the position jabatannyamengikuti pyramidal organizational structure , which consists of top managers , middle managers and first-line managers .
Directing ( Directing )
Management processes that guide and motivate employees to achieve organizational goals .
The manager has the authority to give orders and see the work of his subordinates . In providing guidance , the work manager delay and motivate employees to company goals can be achieved .
Supervision ( Controlling )
Management process that monitors the performance of the organization in order to ensure that the company achieve its goals. Performance indicators should continue to be measured and adjusted . By monitoring can determine what areas are performing well , adequately or less so that corrective action can be done immediately , adjustments or providing incentives / rewards for those who perform well .
